The MEPI Regional Office in Tunis highlights past success stories, present activities, and future opportunities through a variety of regularly changing features presented here.  These stories can also be found on our Medregion Update, a monthly compendium of news and information sent to our MEPI Alumni members and others interested in the promotion of democratic reform.

The Calendar of Events announces important conferences, meetings, and other happenings throughout the region, many of them hosted by MEPI implementers.  News from the Region is our way of spotlighting individuals and organizations which have benefited from MEPI grants and exchange programs to advance reform.

We also provide information here about Regional Office Conferences sponsored by our staff, working alongside our MEPI partners.  To assist those trying to improve the effectiveness of their organizations, MEPI conducted a series of Strategic Planning Workshops in several countries in the region.

Finally, we have included Press Releases from the U.S. Embassies in our countries of coverage to provide a better understanding of the type of programs they conduct in support of MEPI.
