The Regional Office of the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) for the Mediterranean Region is based in Tunis, Tunisia and is directed by Peter F. Mulrean.

MEPI Medregion covers six countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories and Tunisia and reports to the Washington based Office of Partnership Initiative (PI) in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA).
